[Qwest] CL says everything looks fine, but...

I seem to periodically disappear from connectivity to certain web sites. This is true both with wire and wireless. Initially CL said I needed a new modem, so I went from a Q1000 to a C1000A (VSDL2 50/5). The intermittent connectivity remained. Line tests from CL appear to show no issues. In doing my own troubleshooting out of frustration, I see the following in my router stats: Connection Status DSL Downstream: 50.111 Mbps DSL Upstream: 5.12 Mbps DSL Link Statistics Broadband Mode Setting: MULTIMODE Broadband Mode Detected: VDSL2 - 8A DSL Link Uptime: 1 Days, 3H:33M:47S Retrains: 1 Retrains in Last 24 Hours: 0 Loss of Power Link Failures: 0 Loss of Signal Link Failure: 0 Loss of Margin Link Failure: 0 Link Train Errors: 0 Unavailable Seconds: 20 Estimated Loop Length: N/A Un-Canceled Echo: N/A Transport Mode:: PTM Path Parameter: 201 Priority: 3 Service Type: PTM-Tagged DSL Power Levels Downstream/Upstream SNR: 7 dB/18 dB Attenuation: 0 dB/0 dB Power: 16.9 dBm/7.6 dBm DSL Transport Downstream/Upstream Packets: 2778649/1778797 Error Packets: 0/0 24 Hour Usage: 6.322 Mbps/0.522 Mbps Total Usage: 0.230 Mbps/0.018 Mbps 30 Minute Discarded: 0/0 DSL Channel Near End/Far End Channel Type: Interleaved/Interleaved CRC Errors: 172/0 30 Minute CRC: 13230/0 RS FEC: 0/0 30 Minute FEC: 174965/38 Question #1: CRC errors are often associated with bad cables. Is it recommended that I check from the NID to rule out internal cabling issues? Question #2: CL told me that even though the CRC errors looked high, this would not affect my connectivity. They also told me they could check my house wiring remotely and it looked fine. Is that even possible? Question #3: Can someone explain what the 30 Minute CRC/FEC measurement does? Many thanks in advance! You all rock!
