I hate CenturyLink and I can't get out!

I am a very upset customer if you can even call me a customer as I was never able to connect to your services. I canceled my account with in the 30-day trial period due to the lack of connection. It took my 6 days to cancel my account, which is bullsh*t on it's own, but I was told I would receive a zero'd out bill and a box to return the modem. I still haven't received a box to return the modem and I got a bill for $123. I've tried calling multiple times to take care of this bill and I keep getting the run around and hung up on. That bill has now been sent to a collections agency, which is a huge black mark on my record. What this company is doing is terrible and illegal.
