[CenturyTel] Youtube Playback Issues and General Quality of Service Problems

I have had centurylink internet for over a year now and up until now the quality has been great. Around a month ago youtube videos stopped loading, as in they would just never load. If i press refresh like 20 times in a row eventually I can usually get it to load, but then the video will play for like 30 seconds and buffer. I currently have 20Mbps download speed and its become infuriating. I also receive an error from youtube indicating centurylink is not "HD verified." (see attached pic.) This indicates an ISP level issue. Maybe centurylink isn't paying youtube for an optimum route or whatever is needed to become HD verified? I have called tech support but problems like this are hard to resolve as the line conditions look good and its difficult for them to do anything else. Edit: I called tech support and they said that google/youtube is limiting connections from centurylink and there's no resolution at the moment. The only solution is to switch ISP's. Second Edit: I sent a message to TalkToUs@centurylink.com and received a reply saying someone would look into it. I'm currently waiting on a resolution and will update this thread with any responses.
